Enjoy a 2:00 pm checkout on your day of departure and explore The Umstead:   experience the Spa whirlpool or sauna, the Umstead Fitness Center, or take a stroll around our woodland pond.  Or let Executive Chef Scott Crawford delight you with his Herons Wellness menu, featuring seasonal tastes from local farms.

    Spa Policy
    Guests must be 18 years or older to receive Spa treatments.

    Cancellation Policy
    Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.

    Guarantee Policy
    All reservations require a credit card to guarantee the reservation at the time of booking.
